You already know about the famous Walt Disney World and the movies that come with it, but you might not know about the person who created it. Walter Elias Disney, also known as "Walt" Disney was the founder of all of this. He was born on December 5, 1901 in the Hermosa Section of Chicago, Illinois. However, he spent most of his childhood in Marceline, Missouri, where he went to McKinley High School to take art and photography lessons. He and his brother created his own animation business, and eventually created Mickey Mouse, Walt's first character. Eventually, he and his brother hired an ink- and - paint artist in his business, named Lillian Bounds, and got married several years later. During the construction, Walt had been prescribed with lung cancer. He was let out of the hospital, but unfortunately died on December 15, 1966.
